MASTER'S CAPSTONE PROJECT

Stock visualizer app

App development Python - Flask React Oracle Cloud Google Cloud Platform

"💸 Wingy" was a basic 3 tier app developed for the individual capstone project. The backend consisted of a combination of a Flask server connected to a DB in OCI, while the frontend was a static site developed with React. The app had a basic authentication workflow with input validation and client cookies for session persistence. This basic app allowed users to build their own stock portfolio and used the Alpha Vantage API.

END OF MASTER PROJECT

Fullstack app template with MongoDB

App development Python - FastAPI React Google Cloud Platform Docker

This was a group project developed for the end of the master's program. We got in touch with software engineers from Mongo and we were instructed to modify this template (which uses PostgreSQL) to use MongoDB instead. The app was built using FastAPI and React and it ran on GCP using Docker. It allowed all CRUD operations on users and items.
